You will oversee multiple programmes, taking responsibility for planning, delivery, budgets, resources and outcomes. You will work closely with NHS partners and colleagues across Redmoor to establish what each programme needs to achieve, coordinate the right expertise and keep delivery on track. 

Our work includes digital adoption, access improvement, workflow redesign and wider transformation in primary care. You will need to understand the pressures facing NHS teams and translate programme ambitions into improvements that work in practice. 

This is a hands-on delivery role with substantial autonomy. You will be comfortable resolving difficult issues, managing competing priorities and providing clear advice to clients and colleagues. 

What you’ll do 

• Lead complex programmes from initial scoping and mobilisation through to delivery, evaluation and handover. 

• Agree clear objectives, deliverables, milestones and measures of success with clients. 

• Develop and maintain programme plans, budgets and resource requirements, ensuring delivery stays within agreed scope. 

• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, identifying dependencies and resolving resource conflicts. 

• Build strong relationships with senior NHS stakeholders, leading programme reviews and supporting decisions. 

• Anticipate risks and address delivery issues, escalating concerns with clear recommendations where needed. 

• Monitor programme spend and delivery against commitments, managing proposed changes to scope, timescales or resources. 

• Produce and quality assure reports, presentations and programme documentation for clients and Redmoor’s management team. 

• Use data and feedback to demonstrate outcomes, identify lessons and improve delivery. 

• Support colleagues with programme management advice and contribute to consistent standards across the team. 

• Represent Redmoor at client meetings, workshops and relevant events. 

What we’re looking for 

Essential 

• A strong track record of independently managing complex projects or programmes through the full delivery lifecycle. 

• Experience delivering change within healthcare or social care, with an understanding of NHS working environments. 

• Experience managing budgets, resources, risks and competing delivery priorities. 

• Confidence working with senior stakeholders, managing expectations and constructively challenging when required. 

• The ability to turn broad objectives into clear plans and measurable outcomes. 

• Strong written communication, including experience producing reports and presentations for different audiences. 

• The ability to interpret data and use evidence to guide decisions and demonstrate results. 

• A practical, organised approach and the confidence to take ownership when circumstances change. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and programme management tools. 

• Willingness and ability to travel nationally when required. 

Desirable 

• Experience working with general practice, Primary Care Networks, federations or Integrated Care Boards. 

• Experience of digital transformation, service improvement or technology adoption in healthcare. 

• Familiarity with primary care digital systems and the operational challenges facing GP practices. 

• A recognised project or programme management qualification, such as PRINCE2, MSP or APM. 

• Experience coaching colleagues or improving programme management processes.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive Programme Manager who enjoys working with clients, coordinating delivery and helping healthcare teams put change into practice. 

About the role 

You will manage a range of digital and transformation projects and programmes, keeping activities on track and ensuring clients receive clear communication and high-quality support. 

Working with our Digital and Transformation Programme Lead and subject matter experts, you will translate agreed objectives into practical delivery plans, coordinate activities and monitor progress. 

Programmes may cover access improvement, telephony, online consultations, NHS App adoption, digital inclusion and workflow redesign. You will work directly with NHS teams to understand their needs, support implementation and track the difference the work makes. 

What you’ll do 

• Manage allocated projects and programmes from planning and mobilisation through to completion. 

• Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones, action trackers and records of risks and issues. 

• Coordinate colleagues and subject matter experts so activities are delivered on time and to the agreed standard. 

• Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and following up on agreed actions. 

• Organise and lead client meetings, discovery sessions, workshops and progress reviews. 

• Monitor delivery against agreed scope, timescales and budgets, flagging potential problems early. 

• Work with clients and colleagues to resolve issues, escalating more complex concerns to the Programme Lead. 

• Produce clear reports, presentations and progress updates for internal and external audiences. 

• Gather and review data and feedback to track outcomes and identify improvements. 

• Maintain accurate programme records and contribute to better delivery tools and processes. 

• Keep your knowledge of primary care and digital transformation up to date. 

What we’re looking for 

Essential 

• Experience managing projects, programmes or service improvement initiatives, including planning activities and coordinating delivery. 

• A good understanding of general practice operations and the pressures facing frontline teams. 

• Familiarity with digital systems used in primary care, such as clinical systems, telephony, online consultation tools or the NHS App. 

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once. 

• Confidence building relationships with clients and working with colleagues from different professional backgrounds. 

• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to produce useful reports and present progress. 

• Confidence facilitating meetings and turning discussions into agreed actions. 

• The ability to identify risks, solve practical problems and recognise when support or escalation is needed. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using digital tools to organise work. 

• Willingness and ability to travel nationally when required. 

Desirable 

• Experience working within or alongside GP practices, Primary Care Networks, federations or wider NHS organisations. 

• Experience supporting digital adoption, access improvement or changes to working processes. 

• Familiarity with primary care priorities, contracts and digital requirements.
