Digital Managed Service

The ARRS funded Digital and Transformation Lead role is designed to support Primary Care Networks with improvement through use of technology and system change. The role requires a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge, and recruitment can be a real challenge!

Redmoor Health’s Digital Transformation Managed Service is designed to remove the difficulty associated with recruitment for roles like the Digital and Transformation Lead, whilst also providing Primary Care Networks with a wealth of digital and transformation knowledge and support.

Redmoor Health are primary care specialists with decades of experience in the NHS and an award-winning track record of delivering successful digital transformation services.

We support Primary Care Networks at all levels from strategic thinking and translation of policy to practice to frontline delivery. We are well-established critical thinkers, supporting providers and commissioners to understand and shape their strategic and tactical roadmap for general practice, Primary Care Networks, and social care.

What's included?

Redmoor Health’s Managed Service provides the full spectrum of digital and transformation support. Our service is bespoke to a Primary Care Network’s support requirements and is designed to help Primary Care Network’s who are looking to:

  • Improve adoption and optimisation of new technology to enhance patient access and experience and increase Primary Care Network productivity
  • Collaborate in the delivery of enhanced access, shared communications and appointments
  • Review and improve the Primary Care Network’s digital maturity
  • Create a network of Digital and Transformation Leads
  • Support the sustainability of general practice services 
  • Use data and improve data quality
  • Increase operational efficiency including, better matching capacity

Service Levels

We know that there are various levels of need at each Primary Care Network and with this in mind we have two options available:

Comprehensive

A Dedicated Lead Specialist for your Primary Care Network who will deliver or coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.

  • Digital and transformation skillset
  • Fully managed project support
  • Daily access Monday to Friday 52 weeks a year
  • Virtual and in person attendance at Primary Care Network meetings and applicable additional sessions virtually and in person*
  • Primary Care Network specific training sessions
  • Open access to our helpdesk for the Primary Care Network and member practices for general digital support
  • Complimentary access to tailored specialist tools: Digital Journey Planner Foundation Plus, Social Media Managed Service
  • Facilitate clinically led innovation and effective adoption of improvements
  • Scaling up plans and Primary care Network development work
  • Practice engagement
  • Coaching local staff
  • Project management
  • Data interpretation
  • Leadership planning sessions and a dedicated Digital and Transformation Lead; this will be a Primary Care Network facing specialist, embedded in the Primary Care Network
  • Responsible person for bringing and discussing current plans and actions, to act as programme manager, engaging other team specialists

Essentials

Advice and guidance service bringing other multidisciplinary specialists from the team where required.

  • Advice, support and guidance to existing Primary Care Network Digital and Transformation Lead or directly to the Primary Care Network leadership team
  • Part time across Monday to Friday 52 weeks a year
  • Virtual attendance at Primary Care Network meetings*
  • Training sessions
  • PCN profiling, using the Digital Maturity Index and other tools to understand your current position and opportunities
  • Formal plan to generate movement and improvement
  • Open access to the Redmoor Health helpdesk for Primary Care Network digital support

*We promote virtual first in our support of the Net Zero agenda but will attend in person as per service level agreement.

Our Team

Redmoor Health are currently working with over 15 Primary Care Networks through our Digital Managed Service. We have an experienced team of former or current primary care staff who have worked in medical, technical, leadership or communications roles within the NHS.

We have also partnered with DKJ Support Services to deliver our Digital Managed Service. DKJ are experts in data-driven digital transformation, optimisation and systems improvement. They also have an experienced team, with skills in; Primary care Network management, stakeholder engagement and CQC compliance.

Our Dedicated Lead Specialists will help you to baseline and improve your service offer; without adding pressure to your staff team.

In addition to your Dedicated Lead Specialist. You will have access to the full breadth of knowledge and experience that lies within the Redmoor Health team.

Dillon Sykes, Digital and Transformation Lead

Dillon Sykes

Service Manager

Dillon has over 30 year’s experience working with and for the NHS which has given him an excellent understanding of the NHS and commercial providers.

During his career he has a proven track record working with NHS organisations providing a sound knowledge and practical implementation of policy, products and services. This includes helping healthcare organisations implement health tech innovations, ranging from small team change to large organisational transformation.

His substantial experience of managing change helped many GP Practices to move from 'legacy' appointment systems to a digital first environment ensuring patients could access technology needed to improve care.

Now in his role as Senior Programme Manager Dillon will work with Integrated Care Boards, Primary Care Networks and GP Practices to help understand the digital agenda and be a Dedicated Lead Specialist helping Digital and Transformation Leads to meet the challenges ahead to successfully improve care for staff and patients.

Kiran Johnson Digital and Transformation Lead

Kiran Johnson

Director and Owner of DKJ

Kiran has over 15 years’ experience working within the public sector including for the local authority, what was the Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Medical Committees predominantly within primary care and health inequalities, supporting general practice with specific programmes of work, CQC inspections, quality improvement and working at scale initiatives.

More recently, Kiran co-founded DKJ who specialises in primary care and has overseen:
• Interim Practice and Primary Care Network Management positions including a wide range of activities covering operational and strategic management.
• Setting up over 80 Primary Care Networks in 2019 and currently supporting 133 Primary Care Networks across the country with projects including workforce planning and implementation, PCN Governance arrangements, quality improvement projects, adherence and assurance on contractual requirements and delivering workshops and away days for Boards.
• Working with over 300 GP Practices with CQC mock inspections, feedback from recent CQC inspections and ‘deep diving’ into specific CQC Key Lines of inquiries.

Kiran also is the Strategic PCN Manager for South and Central Knowsley PCN where her duties include ensuring that DES requirements are met by all member practices, ensuring that ARRS workforces are recruited and embedded, IIF targets are met and developing and setting up Enhanced Access Service and Women’s Health Hubs. Kiran has also been the lead for the PCN, alongside the Clinical Director, for the Complete Care Communities Project.

Frazer Jenning

Senior Programme Manager

Frazer has worked with Primary Care practices for over 5 years in various roles such as First & Second Line Support, Customer Success Manager and an Implementation Specialist, ranging from conversations held over the phone, remote meetings and face-to-face visits. From this, Frazer has gained valuable experience in how a GP Surgery operates, and how software can play an integral part in helping a practice become more digitally accessible for their patients and modernising their processes.
Now at Redmoor as a Senior Programme Manager, Frazer will utilise his experiences with working within the digital sector to help PCNs and practices break through their digital challenges by supporting both practice staff, and their patients through the journey.
Anna Wild Digital and Transformation Lead

Anna Wild

Digital Programme Manager

Anna started working in general practice in 1986 as a Receptionist, before becoming a Practice Manager in 1990. Anna left this position in 1996 to work as a clinical software trainer for Genisyst and AMsyS.

Anna would later move to EMIS in 1998 as a trainer before she expended her remit to become a Lead Account Manager looking after a team of trainers.

Anna left EMIS in 2017 and worked at NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit as a Data Quality Specialist working with practices across Cheshire and East Lancashire.

Anna Joined Redmoor Health team in 2023 as a Digital Programme Manager and is looking forward to working with GP practices and Primary Care Networks to support them with Digital and Transformation support as a Dedicated Lead Specialist helping Digital and Transformation Leads.

Stacey Power

Project Assistant

Prior to joining Redmoor Health Stacey worked in General Practice for 7 years, joining a Surgery in Bolton as a receptionist. Her career has spanned from Receptionist to Medical Secretary, to Practice Manager. Through these roles she has gained experiences in coding, summarising, and implementing new clinical and telephony systems. Stacey understands the pressure General Practice faces and is looking forward to help relieve these pressures for General Practice and patients alike.

Our PCN has been working with Redmoor for the last 3 months and has found them to be professional, productive and proactive. The fact their skilled team has a wealth of NHS and private provider experience across the breadth of health services means they have a wealth of useful information and are expertly placed to understand general practice and Primary Care Network needs. This allows them to consider the best solutions to meet our specific needs.
